Las futbolistas iraníes lograron el sábado una importante victoria por 2-1 sobre Jordania en su último partido de clasificación del Grupo A.
La selección femenina de fútbol iraní se clasificó para la Copa Asiática por segunda vez en la historia y llegó al top 12, imponiéndose sobre Jordania, anfitrión del Grupo A.
Durante este partido, Sara Didar y Neguin Zandi marcaron los tantos de Irán, y el gol de Jordania fue un autogol de las jugadoras iraníes.

La Copa Asiática Femenina AFC Australia 2026 se celebrará a partir del 1 de marzo de 2026, con la participación de Irán, Australia (anfitrión), China, Corea del Sur, Japón, Bangladesh, Filipinas, Vietnam, India, Taiwán, Corea del Norte y Uzbekistán.
